Twilight

Welcome to the Te Puke Cricket Club Twilight Competition for 2019 – 2020 season

It’s great to see all the teams returning to the competition and welcome to our two new teams – Paengaroa Boys and the Black Cats.

Please bear with us for the first week back – we are renovating the pavilion and deck. The after match catch up and prize-giving (with drinks and our world-famous-in-Te-Puke $1 BBQ) will be held under the gazebo at the Te Puke Domain. Eftpos is available. Team fees can be paid by cash, eftpos or on-line banking. Invoices/receipts can be issued on request.

The after match catch up and prize-giving is held at the Te Puke Domain around 8pm. That’s when we find out which team is holding the Twilight Trophy and draw the winner of the ever popular $50 (or more) bar tab. Remember – you and your team’s score cards must be in to win.

This year we will also be running a points table. 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, 0 for a loss. If your team defaults, that’s 0 points for you and 3 for your opponents. Score cards to be handed in every game night by 8pm please. No score card means 0 points for both teams – no exceptions! If a game is cancelled by the organisers due to poor weather but the teams decide to play on – sorry - the points won’t be allocated. Bragging rights only for that one!

Please remember, by patronising our bar and bbq, you are supporting a very successful local sporting club which is run entirely by volunteers. Also, did you know, 10% of the total team fees is donated to Te Puke Junior Cricket?

TPCC is a not-for-profit organisation and we all really appreciate you and your teams buying your drinks from our bar – good variety at great prices

Thank you for your support.
